PERSONNEL TRAINING
  • Supervising and monitoring compliance of policies and procedures according to JCAHO, Title 22, OSHA, and NFPA; identifying and correcting non-compliance

  • Supervising and monitoring the handling and disposal of infectious, toxic, and hazardous wastes, including on-site Santipak Autoclaving Operations

  • Providing continuous documented in-service training for all employees, including orientation training for new hires in accordance with safety rules, job procedures, and duty list; cross training of personnel to increase staffing flexibility

  • Developing, implementing and revising job descriptions and procedures

  • Analyzing task, goals, and performance levels, and performing evaluations of employees and new hires; motivating employees to increase their job performance and hospital loyalty; suspending and terminating employees as warranted, ensuring courtesy, and maintaining professionalism
